Yes. We are licensed (TECL#35916) and also insured and bonded.
What is your scheduling process?
Once you are scheduled, a technician will come to your service address to assess the job and provide a quote. If the job can be completed at that time, the technician will provide the option to complete it now or schedule at a later time. If the job has to be completed at a later time, someone from the office will contact you to get your job scheduled. You will receive a call or text 30-45 minutes prior to your technician's arrival. Please note that we do charge a $75 trip charge to assess jobs more than 15 miles of 77498 zip code. This charge is applied to your job's total at completion.
What form(s) of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, cards and checks made payable to Copperin Electric. Please note that we have a return check fee of $35 in addition to any amount(s) your bank may charge.
Will I need to apply for a permit?
Not all jobs require a permit. If a job (such as new construction, panel change-out, and some upgrades) requires a permit, the technician will advise the customer at the time of assessment. You won't have to worry though. The permit application will be handled by the company.
Is there anything Copperin Electric does not handle?
There isn't much we do not do. However, wiring and/or installing security systems are one of them. We also do not do heavy industrial and nuclear power plants.
